Ernst Friedrich Struve (1739 – 1806)

Ernst Friedrich Struve was the son of Ernst Gotthold Struve and Charlotte Magdalene Struve. He married Rahel Dorothea Hentsch. Their son was Friedrich Adolph August Struve and their daughter was Juliane Christiane Wilhelmine who married Carl Julius Fritzsche. The brother of Ernst Friedrich was Friedrich Gotthold Struve (* 24. January 1742 in Kiel; † 19. September 1813 Oldenburg).

On September 8th, 1774, Dr. medical Ernst Friedrich Struve opened a pharmacy “on the market between Neumann’s and Hauschild’s houses on Niedergasse”, today’s Dresdner Straße 1, where he worked until 1806. From 1803 – 1805 Friedrich Adolf August Struve worked in his father’s pharmacy.
