Anna Maria Struve (1634 -1666)

Anna Maria Struve was the daughter of Barthold and Anna Margarethe (Brunner) Struve and the sister of Georg Adam Struve. She married the consistorial councilor Johann Gottfried Freyer (1626 – 1665) in Weimar. On their marriage a wedding book was published under the title: Gedichte auff das Hochzeitliche Frewden Fest Des … Herrn Johann Gottfried Freyers, Bey der Rechte Doctoris, und Hochfürstlichen Magdeburgischen … Officialis etc. Und der … Jungfrawen Anna Marien Des … Herrn Bartholdi Stuvens, … from which we learn that the marriage took place on the 21st October 1651 in Magdeburg (not yet digitized).

Upon her death a funeral sermon was published under the title: Triunum Christianorum. das ist Gottseliger Frommer Christen Größeste Haabe steter Trost und bSchrift-Gruundliche-Ursachen-Der-Gerechtenester Theil welches alles … where we learn that Anna Maria died on the 19th month of August 1666 and on the following 21st was laid “ … to her resting bed …”

Her husband, Johann Gottfried Freyer, was a doctor of law who published a number of legal tracts among which were: Johan. Gothofredi Freyers tractatus de solutionibus : in quo de personis solventibus, & solutum recipientibus, rebus, tempore, loco, modis solutionis … agitur … AND Disputatio Iuridica De Incendiis … [1659].

In 1665, Johann Gottfried Freyer along with his brother in law Georg Adam Struve contributed verses to the book  Dissertatio Iuridica De Extrema. Provocatione Ad Constantiss. … libus … Johann Gottfried also made a contribution to the book Collegii actionum Bachoviani publici disputatio quinta de actionibus rei persequutoriis et personalibus along with Ernest Ludwig Avemann.
